I really enjoyed the casino. It was very nice , clean, great live music and well staffed that were very nice and personable. We stayed in a standard dbl queen room. It was very clean and well maintained. But the beds were as hard as a stack of pallets. Overall it was a great stay and would do it again but next time get a upgraded to a better room with softer beds.
We ate at the buffet before some casino games. There were lots of options for food including the most amazing sweets area! I almost bought a peanut butter pie to take home! I wish I remembered our waitress's name because she had a great smile, was very quick to see to any of our needs, and told us we could take our soda and tea with us into the casino if we so chose. The facility was very clean and every employee with which I interacted were very professional and nice. Even though there were quite a few smokers, there wasn't an overpowering smell or cloud of smoke. There was ample parking and valet service if we would have chosen, but did not. We did not stay in the hotel.
Great place.. came to see super troopers guys stayed the night. Very happy with everything. Definitely stay here again.. would give 5 stars if I won money..
Cherokee Hotel is very clean and well kept. We were impressed at how nice the hotel was. I would recommend staying there anytime. As with most casino hotels, they have a lot more income than a standard hotel and are able to stay on top of the hotel business. Very nice !
The food is good, not remarkable, but good. The desert section on the other hand is absolutely to die for. I LOVE the fresh crepes. This used to be my favorite spot for serf and turf but they did away with that. You're better off going on a regular day during lunch or dinner because their "special" meals aren't worth the extra money. Sick with the plain everyday budget and you'll enjoy.
